On June 16, the conference  "Raising the climate ambition: companies' engagement towards decarbonization" will be held as part of the UN Global Compact Leaders Summit 2021

On June 16 (12.45-13.30 CEST), the conference  "Raising the climate ambition: companies' engagement towards decarbonization" will be held as part of the 2021 edition of the Leaders Summit, promoted by the UN Global Compact.

The conference, organized by the UN Global Compact Network Italy, will address the issue of companies' commitment to decarbonise their operations, starting with the adoption of science-based emissions reduction objectives in full compliance with the Paris Agreement on climate.

The Leaders Summit, which will last two days (15-16 July),  will once again virtually convene more than 25,000 leaders from business, Government, the UN, and Civil Society, to discuss the contribution of companies to building a just, equitable and resilient world, in line with the objectives of the 2030 Agenda.
